Various ultra-high vacuum chambers are interconnected around a UFO chamber at the center, forming a CLUSTER. The chamber can be transferred from the UFO chamber to other interconnected chambers through the rotation and linear extension of the central manipulator arm. The manipulator arm can extend up to 1200 mm or even higher, providing sufficient distance between the chamber centers to obtain enough operational space. For further expansion, we support the multi-level UFO interconnections.
Linear vacuum interconnection technology
By using a vacuum V-shaped guide rail, the small train inside the vacuum can move smoothly and steadily on the rail, without tilting or flipping due to lateral forces. The small train on the rail can transfer various samples in the vacuum interconnect system. The straight guide rail interconnection technology is easy to operate and expand.
A combined interconnection system with different chambers and magnetic rod
Using magnetic rods to transfer samples between chambers is simple, economical, and relatively common. We have optimized the transmission of various sample holders and reduced the requirements for positioning accuracy, making the operation simpler and easier to operate
